I have often wondered why someone doesn't make a capo with a little top compartment in it for picks or whatever. It would just have to be a little wider than the standard one. Then you would only have to remember to carry one thing around. I see the guy who invented the plastic squeeze ketchup bottle died -- this is an invention? I see he also invented (can this be true, I thought there were many hands in it) the underwire bra. It came to mind because I saw Vertigo again last night (one of those classic Hitchcock jokes virtually no one ever gets -- only in a movie about fear of falling would there be a discussion of cantilever brassieres).

yours, Peter T.

Ahhh PT....another gem......LOL....

Rick, Peter may have come up with something, but why not go all out and convert a Swiss Army Knife into a capo? Tools run out to the sides and add the pick compartment thingy on the top. Then all you'd need is an assistant to hold the peghead up while you play because the capo will weigh more than the guitar itself.

Spaw - wots this rediculas notion about the correct tool ?

If the good lord had intended us to use the right size spanner (wrench), pliers and G cramps he would never have given us the mole-grip.

True......Like the saying goes, "If the tool you're using doesn't work, try a bigger hammer."

i have a fold-up gerber-the pliers are good for changing strings and a little leather-woman micro is great for little snipping jobs...althou a hema stat is always good for kkeping in the instrumewnt case, too.

John, I like to think of many of my devices as "improvements" !! If they blow up, I generawlly move on to something else.

The seven string (altered) Dobro sounds great. I'm trying to get the hang of the Maj7th tuning. It has HUGE possibilities.

Peter, that's a good idea.....I'm thinkin'.

Camera is Italian for room,[hence chamber], so what we have here is a pin-hole room. I guess that some where in this room which is obviously dark, there is a SAK, and it's probably under the black cat.
