Though I suspect that one way and another the events have very likely come into a lot more threads than that even. For example when I posted this A song about bombs that was a response to what happened. And there are all kind of other threads with people saying thing like "in this terrible week" when the topic is not directly to do with it.
Thank you for doing this kat. As you said on one of those threads, this is a historic document. At no previous time could something like that have come into existence.
I just refreshed the last seven days - it's heartbreaking to scan up and see ordinary run of Mudcat threads suddenly get overwhelmed on White Tuesday as the whole world changes.

As usual for this kind of thread, I reserve the right to delete postings of links, once they've been added. Susan, I am sorry about your friends. I started a thread with that link, or put it in one where it got buried. I wrote to the student who put it together and suggested a compilation of links to sites which are promoting peace. I just got an email to say the student, Ka Ping Yee, had done so and invited me to add links if I felt they were appropriate, which I am sure any of us is welcome to do. Maybe there's a preference or something I can change, but it would be nice if the full path link were used instead of the relative path. It is really a surprising and interesting read to go back over those minutes when the awful story unfolded on us like a lead-foil sky. Whooof. Slam. It brings on faint twinges of nausea just to revisit the Cat threads about it; god knows what it is like for those whose hussbands never came home, or those who leapt to their deaths, or fell with the collapsing stairwells, trying now to figure out why the anniversdary is so depressing to them.
