Subject: RE: Chords-Beautiful Isle of Somewhere From: McGrath of Harlow Date: 29 Sep 01 - 04:27 PM "Somewhere the guerdon won" - well, that's a word you don't see everyday. But since it means reward it's correct enough. A confusing line though. I bet the author was using a rhyming dictionary. |
Subject: RE: Chords-Beautiful Isle of Somewhere From: wysiwyg Date: 29 Sep 01 - 04:39 PM Well, Singout, if you print that from Levy and ask a piano player what the chords are, that should do it. ~S~ |
Subject: RE: Chords-Beautiful Isle of Somewhere From: masato sakurai Date: 29 Sep 01 - 10:00 PM The images from the Historic American Sheet Music are clearer. MIDI and information are given by The CyberHymnal. The printed sheet music is in Robert A Fremont, ed., Favorite Songs of the Nineties (Dover, pp. 11-14). ~Masato

Subject: RE: Chords-Beautiful Isle of Somewhere From: pavane Date: 30 Sep 01 - 06:51 AM If you have a MIDI with accompaniment, my program MIDI chords will tell you what chords are being played, and can even simplify the complicated ones. You can buy it from Hands-on MIDI software - it doesn't cost much, and there is a free demo to download. |
Subject: RE: Chords-Beautiful Isle of Somewhere From: pavane Date: 30 Sep 01 - 06:53 AM Forgot to say it can also transpose the chords into any key. And I have written a shareware program which will transpose the actual MIDI. Messages from multiple threads combined. Messages below are from a new thread. |

Wartime memories of a huge battle in El Alamein when, one night at dusk, all dropped quiet as a solo cornet could be heard bringing the battlefield to a contemplative halt. Where can I find a cornet recording please?- |
