Just heard from YHA officially:

BEVERLEY will not be available in the Spring and is unlikely to be included in next years brochure for 2002/2003 :0(

So back to difficult dates for other hostels. If numbers are not forthcoming any body any ideas for non YHA accomodation which would not necessarily have date restrictions.

Otherwise it is next stop Llanstock 3 Cheers John

I will come to either Llangollen or Langdale on either date in January. (I think that any weekend will clash with something, there is so much going on these days). Maybe we can do our own Mummers? Thanks John for thinking this up. By the way I live in Lancashire.

well sadly I won't be able to make early January anywhere as I've got a first grandchild due then!! I can't even make Whitby for New Year! and Wales is too far for a weekend...but if anything is planned for anywhere else then I'd like to be involved...YHA is extremly cheap...if we had alternative accomodation which cost a bit more I wouldn't mind. With 68 of us in Yorkshire a Northern gathering...everyone welcome would surely be feasable.

Llangollen too far, Langdale do-able, Hawick/Melrose/New lanark even better. Sodmouth Middle Bar reunion nearer end of Feb than beginning, LTS, usually 20-somethingth. Tattie B
