Subject: Little Margaret From: GUEST,Bill Richardson (billrich@vt.edu) Date: 26 Oct 01 - 12:45 PM I am trying to find the lyrics and melody for the old ballad Little Margaret. I frist heard this song on a recording by Norman Blake. Searching the web I found that it was recorded by Bascom Lamar Lunsford, Hedy West, and others. But I have not been able to find the words. Their version is based on Lunsford's. The lyrics are loosely similar to those in the link posted by MMario. --Stewie. |
