Lift Every Voice: Music in American Life
The University of Virginia Library exhibition, on display in the McGregor Room of Alderman Library, celebrates four centuries of vocal music and its vital role in American life. The exhibition highlights patriotic songs, hymns and spirituals, minstrels and musicals, protest songs, and 1960s rock and roll.
