Subject: Looking for an album name
From: GUEST,Priscilla

A few years back at a friend's house, I heard an CD of Celtic Christmas music all sung by women. Some of the songs were in English, some in Gaelic, and I think there might have been one or two in Latin. I don't remember whether it was one band or a compilation of a number of artists. In fact, I don't remember much about the CD except that I really liked it. Unfortunately I've lost contact with the friend and can't ask her what the title was.

Has anyone heard such an album?

Thanks.

Do you remember any of the tracks on it? If we could find the same songs listed together, we might find the CD.

One is Nollaig Chridheil, from Cape Breton. Most of it is in Gaelic.

Also a guess, with very little to go on, but could it have been the Mediaevil Baebes' album, Salva Nos? Don't know how much celtic stuff is on it, but they do have the Latin for it.
