Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Just walk on by From: Murray MacLeod Date: 12 Feb 02 - 10:22 PM They were both called "Walk on By". The first one was written by Kendall Hayes, and was a hit for Leroy van Dyke in 1961. Over the years it has become one of the biggest selling country songs of all time. I am not surprised, I can remember falling in love with the song at the time of its release. Dionne Warwick's ditty I can take or leave. Murray |
