Folk night at the Well Parc ,Trevone Bay, near Padstow ,Cornwall on Easter Sunday anyone going down or around that way will be most welcome,
The views are fantastic and the sun set is amazing, in summer that is.
The Well Parc has a long tradition of promoting folk so get along if you can,
And there's no charge!

I think it might be easier to find than you imagine, if you get this close...

Noreen, thank you for the mistake you made on your first link. It allowed me to go directly to the map sit and find where I used to live 40 years ago. If my blue clicky works, there should be a n arrow pointing to 111 Corringham Rd., Golders Green,London NW11.

More memories! How I wish I could be with you. Some happy sessions were had in Trevone, many a pleasant hike over the hill or along the coast to Padstow. If old Pal Lester still finds a place in the corner of the bar, tell him Boab will come back some day with his 'cordion [Lester's word for my squeezebox] . Tell hime it's the Scotsman's message! Have a great time; Boab

Breezy
We are due in Honiton (Devon)that day but if I can talk Marion into leaving her folks early we might just make it back.
Padstow is about an hour from us here on the Lizard so with a bit of luck we could be there.

Yes when Linda and I were down there the other year, every other establishment seemed to be run by Rick Stein. Perhaps we'll see a "Sponsored By" notice on one of the 'Osses soon - or a recipe for barbecued BREEZY.

Keep Bryant out , or the folks in the almshouses will be up in revolt, and they really can be revolting at times.
Must try and get to hertford again and bennington, but been busy with the St. Albans folk club at the Comfort Hotel where this Friday there's Bill Caddick 22nd march 2002.We re-open on Fri 19th April with the -amazing-mr-smith, condoms an all! He's ahoot.then Harvey andrews, Derek brimstone, then on the 10th May VIN GARBUTT - get your tickets now.Hereendeththeplug
It'l be good to meet you Kernow John, will put you down for 2 floor spots at least 3 songs per spot. see you by 8.15. For references talk to lanfranc.
I'll pass your sentiments on Boab, Lester's portrait adorns the bar

Bugger! Sorry, I'll be in Devon that weekend, For anyone interested who is down this way, Trigg Morris do a good Easter tour on Easter Monday, starting in Launceston town Square 10 am ish, lunch at Blisland on Bodmin Moor & a bit of a session, they also dance at Lanhydrock House in the afternoon. More details will probably be found in the Folknew Kernow pages. There is a music and song session also on Easter Monday evening at The Wellington, Boscastle - have fun,
Lucy
