Subject: RE: Help: hi girls From: SharonA Date: 26 Mar 02 - 02:54 PM Ranga: You want to marry a girl, not a woman? 1) You'll need the parents' or guardians' consent! 2) Under a certain age, it's illegal whether the parents consent or not. 3) Girls grow up. When your girl becomes a woman, are you going to leave her for another girl? In other words, if you're not mature enough to want a woman for a life-partner, it may be wise to ask yourself if you're ready to marry at all. |
Subject: RE: Help: hi girls From: Pseudolus Date: 26 Mar 02 - 03:23 PM Sharon, pardon me for saying this but, you go girl!!!!! Frank |

Subject: RE: Help: hi girls From: wysiwyg Date: 26 Mar 02 - 04:31 PM THIS IS NOT A CHAT ROOM! Nor a dating service, nor a singles bar! ~S~ |

Subject: RE: Help: hi girls From: InOBU Date: 26 Mar 02 - 05:20 PM Catspiddle? Any relation to Catspaw? Larry |
Subject: RE: Help: hi girls From: SharonA Date: 26 Mar 02 - 05:22 PM Ah, well, at least Ranga wants to marry and not shack-up-with! CatsPHiddle is right, though, Ranga: if you concentrate on finding a woman to love, and loving her, you'll have a better chance of attracting a woman's love for you. None o' that stalking stuff, though! Scaring someone into professing love for you is NOT loving them, and what that someone professes is NOT love. |
Subject: RE: Help: hi girls From: InOBU Date: 26 Mar 02 - 05:30 PM If someone with multiple personalities threatens to kill himself, is it considered a hostage situation? Larry |
Subject: RE: Help: hi girls From: Liz the Squeak Date: 26 Mar 02 - 06:31 PM And if this isn't a chat room, singles bar or dating service, then there are some VERY confused people around here...... I know of several people who have got together at Mudcat gatherings, so it could actually be described as a dating service.... LTS |
Subject: RE: Help: hi girls From: Rick Fielding Date: 26 Mar 02 - 06:42 PM Liz I've gotten some AMAZING dates at Mudcat! The date of Jimmie Rogers first recording, the date when my Gibson was built.......oh it just goes on and on! Cheers Rick |
Subject: RE: Help: hi girls From: Sorcha Date: 26 Mar 02 - 06:46 PM (I think Whizzy might have been being sarcastic--not sure) |
Subject: RE: Help: hi girls From: McGrath of Harlow Date: 26 Mar 02 - 06:57 PM Well you'd hardly want it any other way, Ranga.
One of the odd things is that nobody seems to find it offensive when a woman refers to a man as being "a boy friend". A bit ridiculous maybe, when the bloke is in 50s or 60s, but not offensive.
But probably that generalisation I've just made doesn't apply in some parts of the world. Most generaisations are like that - and that's one of the few generalisations I feel comfortable in making. |

Subject: RE: Help: hi girls From: Don Firth Date: 27 Mar 02 - 02:32 PM InOBU, since you mentioned multiple personalities, I wonder if you would agree. I am of the opinion that people with multiple personalities should share them with people who don't have any. Don Firth |
Subject: RE: Help: hi girls From: McGrath of Harlow Date: 27 Mar 02 - 02:40 PM Does marrying someone with multiple personalities count as bigamy? Or trigamy or whatever?
Or maybe it's monogamy with built-in adultery? |
Subject: RE: Help: hi girls From: Pseudolus Date: 27 Mar 02 - 04:25 PM I had a friend who once said, "With my luck, I'd marry a girl with multiple personalities and NONE of them would like to F#$@!!! He cracks me up....still single and dating!! LOL

Subject: RE: Help: hi girls From: Hrothgar Date: 07 Apr 02 - 03:37 AM And the really tricky bit is finding a girl who loves me as much as I love myself.......... |
Subject: RE: Help: hi girls From: JeZeBeL Date: 07 Apr 02 - 03:28 PM Hmmmmmm, I agree with CatsPhiddle.....you have to be wuilling to accept a woman who loves you and love her as much in return....a relationship cannot work without give and take on both sides. If you are ready for love then it will find you, or you will find it..... AND...marrying a girl IS illegal...well in england anyway. Jez P.S - Single 21/f/england....looking for kind, honest, loving, caring, fun, beautiful man......also musician would help....none???? Didn't think so!! I'll accept just one answer...... |
