Happy easter to absolutely everyone everywhere. For Easter I take myself each year to the greek isles-and show Zorba the Greek! Lamb, souvlaki, cheese puffs and ouzo of course! Can you turn water into milk? I can! (great trick for kids....glass of ouzo + glass of water!) I can smell the easter cookies of crete baking now..... Cezch out our easter link and join in! No, Peasant, I never did see a more splendiferous mess! Zorba is a brilliant film; Quinn does a brilliant job playing a not-so-brilliant character; and the music and cinematography are sublime.
The quotes, however, vary from the sublime to the boorish... oh well. I'm with you on the Greek food, the ouzo etc. I was fortunate to spend two separate vacations in Greece, and loved it: a rugged but beautiful country, and wonderful people who know how to live well simply.

Happy Easter and I hope you all get lots of lovely chocolate!!!!! Have a good bank holiday and I hope the weather stays good for everyone. The sun is shining, its glorious so I am going to spend time in my garden!!!
