Our dear Dani and her good friend Carl have become the proud (and very exhausted) owners of one of the best community gathering places and coffee shops in the fair village of Hillsborough, NC. She's a great cook and people magnet. He's a fine musician and in charge of arranging the entertainment. A public song circle soon in Hillsborough??!! How about a round of well wishes for this lady who is so adept at wishing others well? As well as for the spouses and families of these two for supporting them in this enterprise?

What's the name of the place? We often use that route when traveling to Myrtle Beach, SC, and are always willing to stop for a refreshment and/or music break.

Wow, once you were bitten by the folk bug you got it bad. Wans't it just last fall that you were not sure about having once a month sing-a-longs in your living room, and now your an establishment! Can't wait to hear the Kazoo band in full chorus blasting out tunes, with Dani singing old time gospel, and Janie croonin' the harmony and Annie laying down a nice bass line in the background.

Will there be a GRAND OPENING and GATHERING Down there in the land of Good food (BAR-B-QUE), Good Music, and most important of all GOOD Folks.

Noreen, yes, that is North Carolina. IvanB. The place is called LUEG's (but nothing Italian about it.) Dani would love to have a 'catter stop by on the way to the beach, I'm sure. By the way, she is reading the posts and appreciating them, but understandably doesn't have much time to post right now. Can really use all the good energy and wishes as she is beginning this new endeavor.

I've already reminded my partner (a musician, by the way) that this is an unbreakable date. I told him how scary I imagine Kendall could be if he was disappointed.

I can't tell you how much it would mean to me to have Mudcat visitors. Did I mention that we have live music every Friday night?!? And that we're only booked through the end of June?!
