I am seeking the lyrics to the Irish Rovers Version of Golden Slumbers done on the Children of the Unicorn Album. Particularly the Solo that Joe Millar sings.

As you probably did GuestCurrieray, I checked the Rovers' website, and Googlesearched it, finding references but not lyrics to a specifically Irish Rovers, or Joe Millar, version. And I don't have the album. Google turns up lullaby and/or Beatles version; dunno how those compare to what you seek.

I imagine The Rovers version is more closely related to the John Denver version than the Beatles. You might try looking in that direction. I have already searched Fabio Zucca's John Denver site for the lyrics and chords but they aren't posted there, sorry. I think it was on Whose Garden Was This.

Besides the Lennon/McCartney song, there is also a traditional version. Lyrics are given in an old thread called 'Women's' Work Songs. There is also a discussion in a thread called Golden Slumbers.
