I kid you not. It's really out. I saw it in the bookstore today, marked down to CDn $6.99. There was a huge lineup of people waiting at the checkout to snap them up...

Well...okay, there wasn't a huge lineup. Would you believe there were one or two people...

No? Well...never mind.

Anyway, it's got a GRRRREAT picture of Big Bill on the cover, and looks to be an entertaining read with lots of self-deprecating humour.

I recommend you get a copy of your own while they last!

The title is: "Get A Life"

I'll check in later with more details. Got to get at least one copy for the research library at the WSSBA.

oh my g**! He's right - it's $35.50 Canadian. and according to a review I just read - includes such incredible stuff as why he paused while pseaking his lines. (Answer - he forgot his lines a lot - he was pausing to remember them. which is about what it always looked like, anyhoo)

*shudder* I can't believe I just actually looked this up.

Autobiography? That implies that (a) he has actually had a life and (b) he is able to remember it or (c) he knows somebody that is literate and has a good imagination.

As funny as dear old Bill is, I think you may not realize that you are in a way defeating the purpose of the funniness by refreshing them all...

It simply floods the site with so many old Shatner threads...that the NEW Shatner thread, which is where your and our creative funniness might best be put to work...is lost in the confusion.

That title alone is worth what Little Hawk is paying for the book! Yes yes Indeed! This is exciting! I will approach my bookstore with reverance and barefeet!
