How can I make this forum one of my lifelines?

Dear Mud: put Mudcat on your "favorites" list, hang around a lot, and feel free to respond to questions you don't know the real answer to...why should you be different from the rest of us? Help out a newcomer or a guest once in a while. If your REALLY GOOD, Catspaw will eventually tell you how to get your secret decoder ring, and then you will be part of the famous "INNER CIRCLE"...I'm still waiting!

But Bill D, what happened to the rule that the combined IQ of a group is equal the lowest IQ of the individuals in the group divided by the number of people in the group?

This rule might be true if there really were such a thing as an IQ, but there isn't.
