Subject: RE: BS: Chgger Stomping! From: Bill D Date: 29 Aug 02 - 05:47 PM when I was in Apple-Asia no one hardly danced at all...let alone jiggling...so I guess I better just stay sittin'... |

Subject: RE: BS: Chgger Stomping! From: Sorcha Date: 29 Aug 02 - 06:05 PM We had chiggers in Kansas and that is quite a jiggle dance! |

Subject: RE: BS: Chgger Stomping! From: Amos Date: 29 Aug 02 - 06:21 PM Appleasian jigger dancing is something Mac users do when they realize how lucky they are not to be using Windows. Happens all the time around here... :>) (Ducks and flees stage right, pursued by an animated jiggle).... |

Subject: RE: BS: Chgger Stomping! From: Jim Krause Date: 30 Aug 02 - 11:25 PM Have some more grog, Bill. Then it won't matter at all. Chigger shanty chigger shanty chigger shanty. Hmmmm got a nice rhythm to it. Jim |

Subject: RE: BS: Chgger Stomping! From: Bill D Date: 31 Aug 02 - 12:11 AM but when I have more grog, I try to say "the Sheik's sixth sheep is sick" |

Subject: RE: BS: Chgger Stomping! From: JohnInKansas Date: 31 Aug 02 - 09:29 AM And "rubber baby buggy bumpers" to you, Bill Can't pass up the chance to reply to the appeal to "political correctness." At least one authority at the U of K entomology department maintains that the chigoe and the common chigger are two separate critters. One bites and leaves, the other burrows. Both are too small to be seen under most circumstances. Both itch. There are a lot of "home remedies," none of which work very well. The only satisfactory response to either is to scratch. John |

Subject: RE: BS: Chgger Stomping! From: Amos Date: 31 Aug 02 - 05:57 PM BillD -- When I was in England back around the turn of the Beatles, they were becoming famous as suppliers for things which would actually make the buildings seem to wink, although I nivver did see the mouse-skins! :>) A-who-is-still-mystified-about-chigger-stompers |
