Subject: RE: Nellies Session this Sunday From: smallpiper Date: 03 Sep 02 - 05:22 AM I was thinking that it might be most ammusing if the owner of said Dennis was to start a thread introducing Dennis to the family as a new member - and see what reaction we get from the colonies......... |

Subject: RE: Nellies Session this Sunday From: smallpiper Date: 03 Sep 02 - 05:04 AM Deanie Please be careful when referring to me and prety ladies in the same sentence also I have some worries about the ambiguity of "filling me in" people might get the rong idea. However, you know my thoughts on the session in question as we discussed it at length when in our cups on saturday. |

Subject: RE: Nellies Session this Sunday From: ossonflags Date: 03 Sep 02 - 04:35 AM Peter, great to have started this disscussion. There are several issues to adress hear, not the least the exclusion of children. I will get back this afternoon to give some more thoughts on this, as I had large amounts of bear last night to celebrate the passing of my kidney stone (named dennis)and are slightly woozy as we speak. |
Subject: Nellies Session this Sunday From: The DeanMeister Date: 03 Sep 02 - 04:20 AM Hellllooooooo people. The time has come once again for monthly antics at chez Collinson. Last weekend proved interesting. PTH at Durty Nellies was a delightfully raucous affair. Nice to see so many catters in evidence, and was a pleasure to pop into Black Boy for a breath of fresh air. Twas an evening of song, dance, friends, and some delightfully pretty ladies...less said about that the better, eh, Smallpiper??? hehehe. Saturday was a long day playing on Lund village green...I got extremely drunk9 and lost two hours of the evening somewhere! Had to call Smallpiper on Sunday to establish where they went to. Thanks for filling me in, John! I wish to start a serious conversation about the continued location of this monthly session. Your thoughts are needed. I am increasingly unsure of the present landlady at Nellies. She was extremely shirty with me when I told her we would not be there last week. I was really quite taken aback with her attitude, considering we don't get so much as a free pint for playing there. It annoyed me intensely. I would also draw your attention to the number of signs appearing around the pub pertaining to her obvious dislike of children. This also pisses me off. They are now barred from the dart room where we hold our session. You may guess how I feel about that. I shall post more on this subject later this morning when I return from a meeting. |
