Subject: RE: BS: Greeting etiquette:Handshakes from Hades From: C-flat Date: 11 Sep 02 - 12:11 PM The first time I met Chris Rea he held out a hand and as I reached out to shake it he did a perculiar thing. Just as our hands met he turned his index finger in and rubbed the palm of my hand whilst we shook hands. I was a little thrown by this and wondered if this was a masonic sort of greeting. Then with a grin he said "Sorry about the wart" and sure enough, there on the first knuckle of his index finger was the wart that he had so kindly rubbed on my palm! Nice guy, Chris!
