Subject: BS: Christmas gift for egomaniacs From: Hollowfox Date: 19 Nov 02 - 06:11 PM While shopping for something else, I came upon an electrified nativity scene for sale. There were large hollow plastic figures of the Holy Family, the shepherds, the animals, etc., with room to put a light bulb inside so they could be seen at night. All at once, the Angel of (Wicked) Inspiration hit me with a clue-by-four. You should buy just the donkey for someone who thinks the sun shines out their ass....Naah, she'd fire me. |

Subject: RE: BS: Christmas gift for egomaniacs From: Bobert Date: 20 Nov 02 - 11:53 AM Well, talk about the totally useless gift for the totally swollen headed aquintance. Last night mI was watching them local Washington, D.C. sports news and there a gym where the University of Maryland has played its basketball games called Cole Fieldhouse which is in the process of being torn down. Well, seems they are cutting up the the wooden floor into small piecs and selling will be offering 4 inch by 2 inch pieces for around $70. Some of the more important areas of the floor, like the foul lines and the painted areas are going to be offered on ebay. And ya know what, I'd venture a guess that there are enough swollen headed folks with disposable incomes to insure that every inch mof thatn floor will be sold fir the big bucks... Bobert |

Subject: RE: BS: Christmas gift for egomaniacs From: Hollowfox Date: 20 Nov 02 - 12:06 PM michaelr, I'd be delighted if you'd use it. It's just too good a phrase to go unused. Credit where credit's due, though; I got it from my kids. |
