Well, here we are on the eve of the most rediculous day of them all but, heck, being a sappy romantic, I figgured I'd just wish all my Catfriends a Happy Valentine's Day. Especially the ladies!

Now, I had almost forgotten that it is tomorrow but the P-Vine had me stop at the grocery on the way home and I knowticed that a lot of folks were buying flowers and then it hit me! So, yeah, I got a half dozen roses and got them hid and will put 'em in a vase later and put 'em on her bedside table and, what the hey, ol' Bobert will be a hero in the morning.

So, if you forgot, the all night Wakmart might just get yer sorry butt out of the fire.

So what's ya' waitin' on?

Meanwhile, Happy Valentines Day Kat, Ebbie, Peg, Nicole, JennyO, Jeri, harpgirl, hippie chick, HG (?), Beccy, WYSIWYG, Blueslady (from Tweeds), CarolC, Rita, Kate (of the Boat Band) and any of the other foxy Catwomenz that have escaped my feeble brain. I love youn all!

Ahhhhh, what's with this Vaentine's Day? I mean, like I musta not been in school when they explained to the rest of kids what its about?

I'm sure that I'm them only man in the world that doesn't have a clue what's behind it but I was smart enough to get the roses, wasn't I?

But (... the bobert looks down at his feet as his ears grow roset red...) I didn't think this was really about the birds and the bees stuff.

Speakin' of the birds and bees, like when I hooked up with the P-Vine (no, no... read on...) well she had grown up way out in the country with chickens and pigs and all them farm animal things and well,... I hadn't.

yeah, my old amn took me out for the "talk" but I didn't come away from the "talk" knowin' anything more than before the "talk'.

So I figured when I hooked up with the P-Vine that all those things that I missed in school would fall into place as I became a, ahhhh, more worldly man. Right?

Wrong.

This ol' gal has three sons and doesn't have a clue where they came from...

Well, so here tonight I'z just stratin' to get to know what the rest of the world all ready knows and now I learn that Vaentine's Day is about birds mating! That is progress! Still not too sure how they do it.... but, geeeze, it's their business. Right?

Happy Valentines Day, Alice, but please don't sent me a blue clicky on birds mating procedures....
