It wasn't an Atkin OM he played on last Friday's 'Transatlantic Sessions', it looked like a nylon-strung slot-head of some description. Or a steel-strung guitar styled like a nylon-strung with a cut-away.

I'm the owner of an OM, Jim's wasn't one.

If young Murray ever finds a guitar tuning to fit his voice it will be a step in the right direction.

If it's the same goofy-looking kid she's had playing with her in The Woodchoppers for some years, who plays a nylon-string guitar, I asked him and he said he uses regular tuning. So does Arty McGlynn, I think.

Cheers,
Michael
