My daughter Maggie is writing a report on the Cajun culture and wants to include some music (good girl!). Where on the WWW can we find sheet music? What are some Cajun Greatest Hits we should look for?

Try a Google search for "cajun music" or look for Jolie Blon. Might find somehting.

You can hear lot of Cajun music on KBON, a small station on the net, in the heart of Cajun country, Mamou and Eunice. Well worth listening to for a feel of the region. Click on "Listen Live."

Animaterra: if your daughter wants to include a few examples, I would suggest Eunice Twostep, Allons a Lafayette,(historically signicant accordion pieces), Jolie Blonde(general popularity/cultural icon) Devilier Two Step(Denis McGee's piece, defines the style). Those four should sum it up.All in the Francois or Savoy book...but whether you can find any notation on the internet I dont know.

Its the only site I've found for sheet music, but it does have several rudimentary notations for Cajun stuff.
