Subject: RE: Coffee House in Brunswick, ME 5/16 From: Uncle Jaque Date: 16 May 03 - 11:32 PM Gosh darn - got a touch of bronchitis and don't want to share germs with anybody. Been wanting to get to this one - or one of the Press Room shindigs for some time now; something always seems to fuddle up the plans! Is anyone considering another Chanty Hoot in the Portland / Brunswick area this Summer? Will the Portland Observatory thing be going on? What the heck is Kendall doing in Washington? I thought Al Sharpton already had a Campaign Manager... Hope the Bruswick gig was a good'n - 'spect it were - wish't I couldda been there!. |

Subject: RE: Coffee House in Brunswick, ME 5/16 From: Charley Noble Date: 17 May 03 - 09:56 AM "Labrys" was enjoyable to watch. I've got to get the lyrics to their housework song, sung to the tune of "The Old Rose & Crown." It's as good as anything Lou and Peter Barrymen ever came up with. Uncle Jaque- Unfortunately, there are no plans for any shanty/chantey sings in the portland area. We're all too busy. Maybe we can do something with Bunker and Sharon in the fall. Cheerily, Charley Noble |
