Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Mary Black' songs From: Joe Offer Date: 02 Jul 03 - 03:55 PM Hi, Jeremie - as Noreen said, you'll find many of the traditional songs Mary Black sings here, and you'll also find some of the more recently composed songs that she's recorded. Generally, the orientation of this site has been toward the songs, rather than toward the performers. I suppose that's because many of us prefer to sing the songs moreso than listening to the recrodings of a given performer. The songs are here, but gathered more by song than by performer. Your best best is to use our search engine and enter a distinctive phrase from the song - searching by title can lead you astray. I added crossindexing up top for the few Mary Black threads we have. -Joe Offer- (click here to search for Mary Black Information). Try http://www.mary-black.net/ for lyrics. Look under "discography." Lots of lyrics. |
Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Mary Black' songs From: Noreen Date: 02 Jul 03 - 03:28 PM ...a typical irish woman... Your point being...? If you're wanting traditional/folk songs that Mary sings, this would be the place to ask, indeed. But Mary now sings a broad range of songs, some which would be less likely to be found here. I'm sorry but I don't recognise any of the titles you mention. |
Subject: Lyr Req: Mary Black' songs From: GUEST,Jeremie Date: 02 Jul 03 - 02:18 PM Hi folks ! I amloking for some Mary Black' songs, such as Carolina Rua, Columbus, Past the point of Rescue etc...
