I am planning to go to Yorkshire Gathering and need advice on what airports to land in,what airlines to avoid, when to start passport stuff, etc. Plan is to fly from Denver to Greater Washington DC area, stay a few days then go on to London. Help! Thanks!

Sorcha.....London Heathrow or London Gatwick are the main airports to fly in to from the States and are easily accessible by train/tube. Let us know which one you are flying into and at what time and we will meet you there!!!

.....Heathrow is better than Gatwick and easier to be met from!

How long you staying over here for??!!.....

Start Passport proceedure NOW.....sometimes it can take a while.

British Airways are OK, I like to fly with Virgin, Delta are ok but noisey, never had a problem with American Airlines.....shop around....

There's a bed for you with us for as long as you want it for!

Do you think you will make it over for Hastings Jack in the Green Festival??!!

cats, plan is to leave here around April 15 and stay 4-6 weeks. The Queen probably won't loan me a Corgi so it depends on how lonesome I get for them............WILL be there for Hastings, wedding and Yorkshire!!
