The some and many many more are held captive until someone comes and craves their release. I learned the song at school many many years ago. Heard it sung by Alistair MacDonald to name but one. The tune is also "The Old Orange Flute, but that's another story. |

On this record was a song called "the wee magic stane",about the Liberation of the stone of destiny from Westminster Abbey.THe song was quite famous in Scotland at that time 1958-9?...Does anyone have the words to this..Tune was the irish "Master Mcgrath" Later in life a man came to live next door to me .He turned out to be Ian Hamilton one of the liberators....small world...Ake |
