J. P. Cormier (www.jp-cormier.com) will be in concert of September 26, 2003. J. P. will be joined by his wife Hilda Chaisson- Cormier on piano. This guy is AMAZING. Subject: RE: J. P. Cormier in Deerfield, Mass From: Murray MacLeod Date: 08 Sep 03 - 06:48 PM If you live anywhere far away don't miss the chance either. He really is the most amazing guitar player. I have not seen him play fiddle all that much but what I saw was superb as well. Murray |
Subject: RE: J. P. Cormier in Deerfield, Mass From: George Seto - af221@chebucto.ns.ca Date: 09 Sep 03 - 07:24 AM Besides his fabulous guitar playing, and fiddle virtuosity, he is also a master of the mandolin and banjo. JP is NOT just an amazing instrumentalist, but writes some great songs AND sings them as well. I would bet in his performance, unless he is there to do instrumentals only, will include about 10 to 12 songs he has not put out on recordings. I was talking about that last night, and know he has some recordings in various stages. Not quite complete, they are eagarly anticipated by all his fans, even if they don't know about them yet! |

Just do NOT dare him to do something! 8-) Grasshopper, you might want to do a search on the Mudcat for some of the threads on HTML to see how to do those "Blickies". It's not hard. There are a number of threads for practicing as well. |
