Bassic, Bradford and Hull are worlds apart. Evening, Muppet - how's the handle of yer stomach pump? Maybe you could answer a question I've asked before: does anything happen these days at the Fleece in Addingham, as I know for a fact it did 30 years ago?

Welcome to the loonie bin, Muppet, from the hot steaming jungles of Florabama. Anyone who does reggae versions of boring, errr... worn out, errr... folk songs is okay by me.

You do, of course, understand that new members are now required to read the entire Mother of All BS Threads thread (currently 1121 posts) and pass a 100 question quiz as part of the Mudcat initiation ceremony?

However, since you are from the UK and most of the MOAB posts are by Yanks and, hence, probably gibberish to you, you may submit a 1000 word post in fluent Hullese instead. Be forewarned, though, that if more than 20% of said post is understandable it is not sufficiently Hullish and will have to be done over and over again until you get it right!

Bruce

Hi MUPPET!
I wouldn't worry about the Loonies - your'e well ahead of most of them!
Best advice is spend some time observing before making a fool of yourself.
Then, when you are really ready to make a fool of yourself...
DO IT BIG TIME!!!!!!!
QUACK!
Geoff.
