WPKN-FM 89.5 in Bridgeport, CT will broadcast highlights of the 2003 NOMAD Festival for Traditional Music, Art, and Dance, on Saturday, December 13, 2003, from 3pm to 6pm. Westra ZORNITSA in concert TOO BLUE: Bluegrass/Swing concert ROGER SPRUNG & Friends in concert SONGS OF THE UNDER-GROUND RAILROAD; Women of Story & Song, with Nzinga's Daughters CIVIL WAR SONGS, a special program by ShoreGrass THE GOSPEL IN BLACK AND WHITE, featuring Gospel Messengers/Jerry Rasmussen, The Beans, Rich Gallagher "REMEMBERING STAN ROGERS - 20 YEARS LATER," with The Beans & friends HOBO SONGS, with Sandy Paton, George Stephens, & Keith Baldwin The NOMAD Festival highlights were recorded by WPKN on November 15, 2003, at the Festival's new home in New Haven, at the Hill Career High School. The 3 hour broadcast is presented without commercial interruption (like all programs on listener-supported WPKN).
