Subject: BS: Even more Mudcat babies!!!!!! From: Pseudolus Date: 22 Oct 03 - 10:46 PM A while back I asked for thoughts and prayers cause my wife and I were trying to have a baby. Then I asked for your thoughts and prayers because we found out we were having twin boys! Well, I'm baaaaaaaaaaack..... My wife was only 27 weeks but the boys were a little impatient and they decided that the 22nd of October was a good enough date. Joshua Thomas and Jacob Leonard were born this morning at 6:38 and 6:39 EST. Josh is 2 pounds 14 ounces and 15 inches long and Jake is 2 pounds 2 ounces and 14 1/4 inches. They are doing quite well and hopefully will be off of the respirator by tomrrow afternoon. Mom is doing great and there are no known issues right now and we all have our fingers crossed that nothing comes up! All prayers, thoughts and wishes are greatly appreciated!!!!! I'll keep y'all posted....... Frank |
Subject: RE: BS: Even more Mudcat babies!!!!!! From: Amos Date: 22 Oct 03 - 10:52 PM Frank: I weighed about that much when I was born, and it doesn't seem to have done me any harm. "Nothin' but a broiler", my grandmother said (the one with the alcohol problem). Anyway, your fine boys have all the good wishes and bound-for-glory good cheer I have to send them! They have a great future ahead. A |

Subject: RE: BS: Even more Mudcat babies!!!!!! From: Beccy Date: 29 Oct 03 - 01:42 PM Some advice from someone with 4 boys... Forget saving for the college education- save money for the food bill. Mine are all under 6 but you wouldn't believe the quanitites of food they consume!!!!! My husband says we'll go into hock feeding them when they're teens. That's why we gave the last one a viking name. We figure we'll need to send him out to pillage and plunder for food to stretch the pennies!!!!!! :-) Beccy |
Subject: RE: BS: Even more Mudcat babies!!!!!! From: Mrs.Duck Date: 29 Oct 03 - 01:55 PM Found the answer to that one with number one son Alec. Six feet five with hollow legs - got him a job at KFC after college so not only does he get paid they feed him too! |
Subject: RE: BS: Even more Mudcat babies!!!!!! From: Pseudolus Date: 24 Oct 05 - 10:53 AM I didn't want to start a totally new thread so I thought I'd resurrect this one for a day or two. My twin boys have just turned two years old on Saturday! There was a party and presents and they wolfed down some cupcakes pretty fast. None of the icing made it furthur than the lips and cheeks but the cake was good! Pretty exciting especially considering the way they started out! I remember starting this thread and I remember the positive thoughts and prayers from all of you. It seems like just yesterday but boy have things changed in two years! They are getting bigger and bigger, they're talking up a storm and occasionally I even understand them! Life goes on and it's good! Frank |
Subject: RE: BS: Even more Mudcat babies!!!!!! From: Tannywheeler Date: 24 Oct 05 - 11:15 AM I wasn't around in the 'Cat when all this started. Thanks for the update. I have 5(!!!!!!!) grandchildren and it is soooooooo fabulous. But I am delighted with WYSIWYG's GrandMUDDERS. You have probably forgotten what sleep is. I had 3 kids, but one at a time. The smarter they are, the harder they are to keep up with. This is the hard part. The day is coming when one of them will bend over to give you a hug or peck on the cheek, and your head will spin--"Wait a minute. I have a kid. I was just changing his diapers or wiping his nose. Who is this incredible young man....????!!??" And you do the hard part to get to the gravy: they eventually give you grandchildren and you float on a joyous cloud forever after.....God bless J.T. and J.L. and make them grow in health and happiness. Happy birthday, boys, and many happy returns. Granny Tanny (Tw) |
