Subject: Lyr Req: Anthony John Clark. From: Nevada Date: 11 Nov 03 - 02:48 AM Hi Everyone. Im looking for a particular Anthony J song. Im not sure about the title, but its a song about becoming your own Grandad & its absolutly hilarious. If you've heard it before, you'll know what i mean, if you haven't, make a point of going to see Anthony & listen to it. It'll have you in knots for ages trying to figure it out. From: Jim Dixon Date: 12 Nov 03 - 10:50 AM A further correction: Lonzo and Oscar, whose real names were Lloyd George and Rollin Sullivan, recorded a hit version of "I'm My Own Grandpa[w]" in 1947, but they didn't write it. It was written by Moe Jaffe and Dwight Latham. They allegedly got the idea from a "Mark Twain anecdote" – but the anecdote hasn't been traced to my satisfaction. See I'M MY OWN GRANDPA in DigiTrad.
