    Yep me too, Ive been told though the best way to piss them off though is that if they provide a return pre paid envolope, put all the bumf in it and send it back, it buggers up their systems. I've tried a few times and not been pestered again.

I recently had my wheelie bin stolen, so I contacted Bradford Council, over the phone informing them of this. A couple of days later I got a form through the post, these were the questions on it;

Size of bin - Normal (240 litres) Small (140 litres)

Details of incident
Date bin was stolen
Location of bin at the time


Distinguishing marks on bin

Any other information which may be of use.



Anyone else had a form as daft as this.

their MASS is equal, not their official weight, which is internationally determined to be measured in different ways.

Lead is measured in avoirdupois (Imperial system): 1 oz = 28.349523 grams
So an ounce of gold is heavier.

an ounce is NOT an ounce...gold is measured in troy weight- 12 oz. per pound..as is silver and precious stones etc...lead and feathers are not.
