Greg, is "Minhamite" anything like Vegemite (or whatever that stuff is ??)

The new computer is one Chris built. Two hard drives---to backup stuff easy. Everything is written out for me step-by-step ---so I can burn copies, delete spam without opening it first etc. etc. etc. I feel like a 5 year old when it comes to these machines. As I said in a mass e-mailing today, watching Chris setting it all up was like watching a game of speed chess 'tween Bobby Fisher and Boris Spasky. (Remember them??) You cyber-gurus like Max, Joe Offer, Dick Greenhaus--and Chris---just amaze me. My MS has ruined recent memory for me and anything with more than two steps, sadly, makes me hit a wall of some kind and locks me up quicker than George
Bush locks up innocent people. I feel like DORY in Finding Nemo. I did lose my "Favorites" list because I forgot to tell Chris to save it from the old computer, but he had my "Address Book" hidden somewhere else on the computer. So I didn't lose that as I'd thought after all. Now, all I've got to do is learn to follow directions----something us Independant Contractor folksingers never were real good at. Also must find out where the files with the directions are stashed !

But it's good to be back surfing---for sure !!!

Art, does Chris have your old hard drive? He may be able to extract your favorites from that. When my old hard drive crashed, my friend Carol dug out an old Favorites file from when my computer was built- it was like an awkward trip down memory lane (I saved that??? why????- plus finding favorites saved by my ex-husband. Can you say "delete"?

Anyway, you'll get the hang of it. Glad you're back!

So now that you are back, Art, and you are the only one who remembers the "Chicago Drug Bust" song - Any idea who Diane is? Just puzzled. Also Minhamite is much nicer than Vegemite I'm glad to say. Of course Vegemite has a song about it.
