Raggy - you had an extra "/mudcat.org/" stuck in the address, It didn't belong there.
Of course - when the Joeclones fix the link all this will become incomprehensible as usual...
I find the Mudcat Blickifier very useful for making links. It saves a bit of typing, plus it lets you check the link works before you cut and paste it back into your thread (or anywhere else for that matter - e.g.emails).

Raggy - don't bother typing. You highlight the address in the bar at the top of your browser, Copy it to clipboard, then Paste it into the box in the Blickifier.
If you want the BLICKY to look like the URL then paste that into the "TEXT" box of the Blickifier, otherwise type the word you wantt o appear.

And the URL typed in HTML but hidden, is the one which has the extra /mudcat.org/ in it. It doesn't matter what the VISIBLE part of the BLICKY says. Mine usually say BLICKY

otherwise it will assume that the internet address is part of the Mudcat site. It's similiar to using a double back-slash at the beginning of a disk path to make it start from the root directory.

MCFAT - my dear remain one of the undead its more interesting than being mortal - look at what your life was like before - you sang , you drank, you drank, you sang....   now you are a hologram committing all sorts of hyperspace crimes and a champion duellist - though the fact that you keep fighting for a number of different women leaves me bewildered - you are also an honoury member of the McCLUCK CLAN what more could you ask for!
