May I tell you all about this treasure of ours? Tinker is one of the most valuable jewels in a treasure chest full of precious gems known as the Mudcat. I have spent most of my adult life looking into the hearts of people, determining intent, and looking for what drives them. As best as I can tell, the major driving force in this wonderful person is a love for others. With no agenda other than her surmising that someone is in distress, emotional or physical, I have seen this wonder go out of her way to make them smile or feel better. I have been the recipient of her kindness on more than one occasion. I have seen her kindness in action on many others, including this Christmas. In return, she seeks nothing more than the satisfaction gained from helping someone.

High praise? Yeah, except that I wish words would not fail me in trying to describe my admiration and love of this dear friend. I guess that the best I can say is that I aspire to be more like her in terms of what motivates me.

Thanks for being my friend, and what you are, dear one. Happy Birthday. Happy for all us the day you were born.

Thanks all, I just got back from the family visits and this was a wonderful surprise.... Janie, dear one, I'm afraid I am "ever so much more than twenty" ..... but somehow friendships, especially some of those here, keep me returning to the heart of my youth.
