Just read on internet that they found a 56 year old man alive today, Jan 8 after 13 days buried in the rubble....in very bad shape to be sure... mg

i heard there was a 90 + year old woman pulled out not long ago, also..

That 91? 97? year old woman that was found a few days ago fascinates me. She was unearthed on the ninth day. The account I read said that it wasn't clear whether she had access to food or water. But STILL!

As they say, don't think you have to keep bad news from the 'old' folks because it would be too hard on them- they're tough. They've heard it all, been through it all, survived it all.

Truly astonishing news. No doubt it also gave a huge lift to the search crews, who have had the grisly job of uncovering dead bodies for days on end, to be reminded that their searching is not in vain.
