First you'd have to find the tail. I did discover though that by circling the head rapidly with the mouse, the cat goes into a tizzy. Pretty much as it would irl.

Bobert, did you notice that the url has the name Maukie in it, which is probably the cats name, so you would exchange Meeko & Emma for Maukie.

BTW, just a coincidence, but hubby's cat is also called Emma.

There used to be a little program called Meeko which you loaded into Win (3.1 was the version then!) which used to have a small cat chase the screen mouse around. If you didn't move the mouse, it would just curl up and sleep... wonder what happend to it?

Did you notice that if you scratch around the middle of its head between its eyes, it meows, and if you scratch its tummy it purrs. I like playing with its tail and ears and making them twitch - just like a real one, only my cat would probably lose patience and bite.

Bobert, I used to have a very quirky cat called Frederika the Squeaker, because she didn't meow, she just squeaked, and rarely at that.

There is also a cute cat called Felix which shows a small black & white cat walking around your computer screen. There are some clever bits, like when Felix is walking along the top of one of the small windows (Windows open on your screen) and you close the window, the cat falls down to the bottom of the screen. It is a free download.

Bobert, I trusted you weren't REALLY going to take your two cats to the Humane Society, but I am surprised that no one expressed outrage before you fessed up that you were keeping them!

I'm interested that both you and Helen have had cats with a squeaky name. My cat is Squeakyfish. The first part of her name is precisely because she never used to meow but only squeak. Now, she meows and makes little "Prup" sounds and a bunch of other things but for many years she just went "eeee, eeee!"
