Subject: Stool of Repentance From: Jack Hickman Date: 19 Sep 98 - 09:56 AM Greetings All The band to which I belong has started playing a jig with the title "Stool of Repentance." We play this in a set with "Father O'Flynn". I like to be able to talk about the significance of the title of a tune, but I'm afraid the "Stool of Repentance" has me stumped. Can anyone enlighten me?
