Contacting folklorist Fintan Vallelly

I'm trying to make contact with folklorist Fintan Vallelly. I have tried using an email address that I got from a mutual friend; [e-mail] but it keeps bouncing back.
I don't have a snailmail address so if you can help I would much appreciate it

Fintan is working at the University of Ulster anymore. I forget what his new job is. Of course,he isn't so long away, he might still get that e-mail if you have the address/spelling right

Still no luck. I checked on the University of Ulster website but Fintan is no longer listed as being a member of staff, and a search of the site proved fruitless.
Any other leads?

You might try a roundabout route through his sons -- concertina ace Niall Vallely who is married (I think) to singer Karan Casey, or Cillian Vallely, the piper for Lunasa.

not sons, nephews! they are sons of Eithne & Brian, Fintan is Brians brother.

try Dundalk Institute of Technology where Fintan is now teaching I believe

Fintan and Brian (Armagh Pipers)are related, but not brothers I think

It's only a week or so since I discovered the obvious, thanks to Philippa - that all these Vallelys are related. My next question was going to be, What's the connection? But that now seems to have been answered. A bit of music there indeed....

If anyone does come up with a working email address for Fintan, I'm not sure that an open internet forum is the place to quote it. A personal message would be better, but I realise that Bill doesn't have this option, being a guest.

The problem with putting an email address on an open forum, is primarily due to the danger that one of these webcrawler programs designed to collect email addresses for spammers will pick it up. So to thwart these lowlifers I usually type the address in this form
(johndoeAThotmailDOTcom) readers will then recognise the address but the webcrawler won't.
