Subject: RE: BS: Fire Arms Refresher Course From: Walking Eagle Date: 20 Feb 04 - 10:29 PM Hey folks. Head 'north of the border' and read a very interesting thread about THe Chisholm Trail. Sad part is, Tar Heal has a good music website. Check one of these trolling threads for a post from McGrath and you will see the clickie for it. |

Subject: RE: BS: Fire Arms Refresher Course From: Teresa Date: 21 Feb 04 - 02:59 AM I thought this was going to be an instructive course on firearms? Ah, naivete strikes again! Teresa |
Subject: RE: BS: Fire Arms Refresher Course From: Peace Date: 21 Feb 04 - 06:40 PM I should have read the document more closely. I thought it said "the right to bare arms." I thought that was cool, because as a youth we had uniforms in the public school I went to, and we had to wear long-sleeved shirts, which I hated. No wonder I was always in so much trouble for wearing t-shirts. Now ya tell me. |
Subject: RE: BS: Fire Arms Refresher Course From: Rapparee Date: 21 Feb 04 - 10:11 PM Heck, here's a firearms refresher course: 1. If you don't know how to use it correctly and safely, don't own it. Even if you do, if you have a wicked temper get rid of it. I've owned and used firearms, man and boy, for damned near a half century, and that's the best refresher course you can have. |
Subject: RE: BS: Fire Arms Refresher Course From: LadyJean Date: 21 Feb 04 - 11:46 PM There was a gang war in my neighborhood last summer. It kept me in at night, filled with fear that a stray bullet would come through my window, or someone would decide my fire escape would make a good gun emplacement. A gun of my own would have been no use. I thought of buying bullet proof glass for my windows, and bullet proof vests for my cats and me. A lady who is stuck in her apartment because some young fools are shooting at each other, ain't a happy lady. That one didn't make tarheel's list, did it? |
Subject: RE: BS: Fire Arms Refresher Course From: CarolC Date: 21 Feb 04 - 11:54 PM A government of the people, by the people, for the people That would be nice, wouldn't it? Instead of a government of the multinational corporations, by the multinational corporations, and for the multinational corporations. |
