Subject: BS: A travesty of broadcasting (UK) From: Nemesis Date: 25 Feb 04 - 03:49 PM Today on Channel 4's "The Salon" the cameras lingered over celebrity TV chef Anthony Worrall Thompson getting a short back and sides; screaming queens delirious over the members of an Irish boy band (pardon the pun) ; an intense master class on back-combing; an affecting facial makeover of a blind lady ... - yet a mere 5 second tantalising flash of a bare-naked man being hosed down with fake tan. Are we really supposed to believe that was Oaklet? Where was the Brazilian and chest hair waxing we were promised in 'Chat the other night? Worse, we missed The Simpsons on the other channel... Oak, I want me money back! |
