Just a little something I overheard on the News Hour.

Evidently Alan Greenspan, Chairman of the Federal Reserve, is now concerned about the growing deficit. Rather than letting the tax-cut expire, he feels it would be better to reduce Social Security benefits for those still working, when their retirement arrives.   

Finally someone in the Administration has said it out loud.

After all, if you run up the deficit, the easiest way to eliminate it is to lower the amount you have to pay back by cutting down on the entitlement of those who have been paying in all of their working lives.
