I seem to remember concluding, in February, that it was impossible to get more than 595.5m for a bouncing penguin, or 490.5m for a high trajectory penguin (assuming you're playing the original - I've seen at least another two versions that are essentially the same, but have longer distances).

So, no, you're a good 40m short of the record, old boy! :p

Is this predominantly a male thing? I haven't got over 203 and miss more times than hit. My penguin just keeps ending up nose first infront of the yeti. His beak is blunt. Maybe I've just got a dodgy bat.

Blackcatter - that's a different version that gives shorter distances. I tried it, & had a high trajectory penguin come down at under 200m!

The rest of you have still got 595.5 as a target... :p

On the other hand, here's a challenge which is surprisingly difficult. On the standard version (i.e. a Hawk version, not a BC version), what's the shortest distance you can achieve, having hit the penguin!! 0.0m for a miss doesn't count... ;)

The seal bounce is strange. The best I've gotten on it was around 1100 so far. I think it helps to hang on longer before releasing the penguin.

LH...you do realize you can flip the penguin back up...like a pinball game...if it comes down on a seal on the wall.

I have not experimented with variations in release techniques, except to try to aim as nearly vertical as possible....I 'think' an angle which bounces him mear the top will be best.
