Was I there? And, yes Dad, I did break a string on the strat last time Rog and I strutted our stuff.

Saturday was a good night, Mick. I enjoyed it immensely.

Be forewarned

Pete and I are playing the Sun again on Sunday May 30th.

As per usual we will probably ditch most of the repertoire from the last successful gig and try out a load of new things plus many old faves that we didn't play last time. We may even think about what to play before we start playing (although that can't be guaranteed)

Joining in is compulsory but dancing is optional.

I'll start a new thread about it closer to the time

Rog

Not sure wether I've mentioned this, but Saturday will be my penultimate appearance with Punch the Horse at Durty Nellies. I have 2 Durty Nellies gigs left, and two Foresters gigs, wrapping up on Thursday 17th June at the start of the folk festival. Thereafter, the trusty Antoine will be the full time guitarist for the pugilists.

I'm taking up needlecraft and whelking to while away the days instead.

Pete.

Welcome back, Michael.

Glad you had a splendid time. Re the Sunday Session, I should enquire to see how many are going to be around, as I suspect the hard core of your performers are likely to be abroad.

Had a lovely Easter week in Robin Hoods Bay and environs, lots of skipping lambs, fluffy bunnies and daffodils waving in the spring breeze.
Feeling very fit after walking and cycling a lot, ready (almost) for our trip to the south bank of the Humber for Oakley's bank holiday whelk-tossing contest. Will be nice to see some of you lot again (what am I saying???)

Well. All this bitching. I have today driven to Bridlington in hot sunshine, closed a deal, and secured my place on an all expenses paid 5 star Hotel trip to Monte Carlo in June. How good can life be? Beat that, Adam?

I drive a Mercedes too. I'm the daddy.

Interested in a photocopier?

Pete.

I am well aware this has been said before but obviously people are so lacking in intelligence they need a constant reminder, so here we go again and I'll type it S L O W L Y for you.

Guest, if you don't like what you see, don't log onto the thread, it is not compulsory (that means thicko, you are not forced to read it)You do not have to contribute anything to it, (again, for your obvious simple mind)You don't HAVE to write anything

God help us, people like that are entitled to vote, yet they cannot grasp the meanest of idea's with any success.

Hmmmmmmmmm Everyone's very quiet, is a plot afoot, (or even a yard)What dastardly deeds of musical terrorism are being planned.

Or is the hush a result of other influences, we have learnt recently of Deanmeister sexual pecadillo's, perhaps Oakley is a closet naturalist who at this very moment is pracing naked along the banks of the Humber, whilst KJ (a secret voyeur, perhaps)binoculars in hand is watching from across the waters. Bassic may be wrapping himself in cling film at this exact second to indulge in his whimsical fantasies with a melon and a cheese grater.

Why the lack of idiocy girls and boys, hands full?
