there was a large 10,000 gallon (?) tank beside the highway near here
that had a big question mark and the word WAR (? WAR) painted on it.
It was visible for a couple of months last year....the letters must
have been over 5 feet high. white on rust--good contrast...

What I've been saying: Making them laughed at (especially if you can get people thinking at the same time) will bring them down.

California is not the only place this sort of thing is happening.

This event in Sydney last year made all the headlines. Unfortunately they didn't let it stay there for long, though.
