If people are going to count John from Hull's threads as compared to threads about John Kerry, they need also to factor in the threads about rubbish, dead cats in his dustbin, rusty bicycles in his garden, fish fingers, cakes, puffs, and the rest of the assortment. So I figure that would put John from Hull rubbish, etc. threads at about one hundred to every John Kerry thread here in the Mudcat.

well at least the threads about John and Hull have some humour. Most of Bush / Kerry threads start off all right, with some semblance of a debate. But then the two sides abuse each other and its not so much boring as very unpleasant. I don't think any of these comments would be made face to face, or you'd be shooting at each other.

I guess thats the American way. You have to be polite to each other cos you don't know who is armed to the teeth - so you come home and say all the natsy things here to your computer screens.
