Subject: BS: London Accom Advice Sought From: Blowzabella Date: 25 May 04 - 06:40 PM Hi - I am leaving the wilds of Lancashire for a night in the Big City - scary thought. I am coming to London on Friday June 11th and returning Saturday 12th. Now there are people in London whom I know - normally I would cadge a bit of floorspace off them. However, I will be in a sort of meeting for a good part of the day and then watching a friend who is performing (as a musician, not an actor) in Romeo and Juliet at The Globe. I don't think it would be the done thing to turn up on someone's doorstep at such a late hour and want to just crash. It just wouldn't feel right. Nor do I fancy travelling around London on my own late at night. The performer friend will be returning to Tunbridge Wells, so that isn't an option - anyone know of anywhere reasonably priced in Southwark, near to The Globe? |
