Is anyone coming to this year's Stewart Park Festival, in Perth Ontario, July 23-25? The website is here.

The outdoor stages, during the day and into the evening, are all free. You can buy a pass to get into various late night concerts around town. I'm especially looking forward to hearing Jenny Whiteley, Dave Gunning, and Lenny Gallant.

And if you're so inclined, there will be a Celtic session on the workshop stage on Sunday afternoon, and you can expect to find Mudcatter Willie-O and me there. I think he also may be playing the beer tent at some point.

I'll be there, (obviously)...this is really one of my favourite events anywhere.

I am playing on the beer patio at 5 p.m. Friday (swing tunes), and 2 or 3 on Saturday as part of the Linda Grenier band. The Celtic session is at 1 on Sunday. (All players welcome...anyone?)

Nobody likes us.

To drum up business, we had to resort to going into the big bad city (well, the medium bad city really) to distribute DNA samples and break strings just to elicit sympathy.
