July 28 — If you're tired of your e-mail box being jammed with spam, forward it to the federal government.

The FTC has set up a new e-mail box just for deceptive spam. It will use information it gets to generate cases against people sending bogus e-mails.

hey, Robin, I don't think it's our government, so we still need to find a use for little johnny & co. The only use I can see is as an inspiration for John Dengate & The Shiny Bum Singers.

But Sandra the stuff from US sources can still be sent there by us.... :-)

I used to send stuff to the old address - now I just use mailwasher and delete it - but the stuff I get that used to boast about underage kids I used to send to our wonderful police and the Special Wanking Dept the (Aussie) Federal Minister set up - I stopped when

1) the police actually asked me via email to stop sending them this apparent evidence of criminal activity!

2) The Special Wanking Dept the Federal Minister set up relied to me (after a couple of weeks) that the site was not at the URL in the message - of course it bloody wasn't - somebody had already - in the same message sent to them! - complained to the ISP (ME!) and it had been shut down!

Now it just all gets Mailwashed!

ONe of the worst offenders of spam I have noticed is the RNC....Robina nd Sandra.....doesn't little johnny have an email address? maybe you could foward it all there.

If you just forward it I wonder if you're losing a lot of the important header information? Maybe a cut and paste of the whole thing (with the full header) might be more effective.

the page says to include the header info...
