Subject: BS: what would you stick your hand up From: Red and White Rabbit Date: 12 Aug 04 - 05:34 AM MCfat / Wombat and Raggytash / Kampervan are all known to stick there hands up various puppets - I know I have some of the photos! but MCFAT is now going a step too far Sooty Sweep Soo a lion and a sheep I can just about tolerate by now he's talking about that bloody duck Orville - any other suggestions of puppets so that we can persuade him that duck is a bad idea! |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you stick your hand up From: el ted Date: 12 Aug 04 - 05:43 AM This seems to be a perversion that only occurs in West Yorkshire. As a normal East Yorkshireman I would suggest a muppett. |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you stick your hand up From: GUEST,MC Fat Date: 12 Aug 04 - 06:22 AM I resemble these remarks anyway what's wrong with Orville he's a cute cuddly green twat of a duck who want to fly well I could make him fly by giving him a great big boot up his arse !!! El Ted .. Muppett might mind he is a mate but I don't like him that much |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you stick your hand up From: el ted Date: 12 Aug 04 - 06:25 AM A muppett, not THEmuppett! Mind you, when I think about it, maybe that's why he dances so funnily! |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you stick your hand up From: GUEST,MC Fat Date: 12 Aug 04 - 06:34 AM and he's always smiling |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you stick your hand up From: Red and White Rabbit Date: 12 Aug 04 - 10:52 AM so how long have you had your hand inserted in muppet? |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you stick your hand up From: muppett Date: 12 Aug 04 - 11:05 AM The only time there's a hand near my bottom is when I'm scratching it, I'll have you know |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you stick your hand up From: GUEST,noddy Date: 12 Aug 04 - 11:09 AM muppet is that a mis-spelling in the last sentance???? |

Subject: RE: BS: what would you stick your hand up From: GUEST,MC Fat Date: 13 Aug 04 - 04:37 AM Rectum Wrecked Them all the same to me. |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you stick your hand up From: Sttaw Legend Date: 13 Aug 04 - 05:21 AM Did the cows smile? |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you stick your hand up From: el ted Date: 13 Aug 04 - 05:27 AM That must have been bloody hard Lynne, trying to do a puppet show using REAL cows on each hand! Why not use sooty and sweep glove puppets like the rest of us? ( not forgetting Soo of course, in these politically correct times ... oh and Ramsbottom, nice ethnic touch there... and Kipper of course the gay one... errrh... I'll get my coat) |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you stick your hand up From: MBSLynne Date: 13 Aug 04 - 07:29 AM Due to my conditioning, if Sooty and Sweep didn't get in calf I would be quitting the job. And, Guest, I do make my own bread...kneading dough is just the best way to get the cow muck out of the cracks in your hands!! Love Lynne |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you stick your hand up From: The Fooles Troupe Date: 13 Aug 04 - 07:59 AM If you get cow muck on your hands, I'm sure you're doing wrong.... |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you stick your hand up From: el ted Date: 13 Aug 04 - 08:30 AM If sooty and sweep found themselves in calf, I think Matthew Corbett would find himself on the front page of "the news of the world" |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you stick your hand up From: MBSLynne Date: 13 Aug 04 - 09:08 AM Believe me, when you do that job you get cow muck EVERYWHERE! |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you stick your hand up From: Geoff the Duck Date: 13 Aug 04 - 09:09 AM I suggest that the MC Fat one curtails any thoughts of sticking his hand up a duck when he is in MY vicinity... Quack!! GtD. |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you stick your hand up From: Red and White Rabbit Date: 13 Aug 04 - 09:38 AM well being a secret banjo player if he shoved his hands up far enough you could play the banjo in in tandem Geoff |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you stick your hand up From: Micca Date: 13 Aug 04 - 10:16 AM I think Geoff would be too distracted if he had MCFats hand up his back end to ride a tandem, never mind play a Bango at the same time |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you stick your hand up From: Georgiansilver Date: 13 Aug 04 - 12:55 PM I am always amused when I pass the sign by the roadside warning of Elderly people crossing.(In UK)....did you see where the lady has her hand???? Best wishes. |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you stick your hand up From: robomatic Date: 13 Aug 04 - 03:38 PM I wonder if this explains the unique shape of Samuel Smith bottles. |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you stick your hand up From: Red and White Rabbit Date: 14 Aug 04 - 05:30 AM can you imagine MCFAT on a bike let alone riding tandem? |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you stick your hand up From: Liz the Squeak Date: 15 Aug 04 - 03:56 AM I worked in a restaurant and had my hand up many a parsons' nose.... As far as puppetry or muppetry is concerned, I've not had me hand up much but I have had my head up 5 giants, 2 ninnies, 2 dragons, a frog, an owl, a glow worm and a lion on a stick. On the whole, it's more satisfying, but sticking just a hand is a lot easier on the back. I did once insert a digit into a fingerbob, but I think that's just perversion. LTS |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you stick your hand up From: Liz the Squeak Date: 15 Aug 04 - 04:01 AM OOh, I forgot - I've had my head up Gordon the Dalek too!!! LTS |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you stick your hand up From: Red and White Rabbit Date: 15 Aug 04 - 12:23 PM well if you are in whitby for folk week you might be interested in Sooty's Mummers play that will take place at some point - just finished the costumes! |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you stick your hand up From: Shanghaiceltic Date: 15 Aug 04 - 11:01 PM Poor Sooty, Sue and Sweep Imagine how they did weep When they saw Matthew's evil grin He'd forgot to bring the vaseline. |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you stick your hand up From: Liz the Squeak Date: 16 Aug 04 - 02:34 AM My sister once attended a Sooty show. I think that says it all about her really, she's never really aimed any higher. LTS |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you stick your hand up From: Dave Bryant Date: 16 Aug 04 - 04:45 AM Rabbit - I think that you're just jealous ! |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you stick your hand up From: Red and White Rabbit Date: 16 Aug 04 - 11:10 AM not me! I just dont want to have to put up with Ken and Jim singing 'I wish I could fly' for the whole of Whitby week! Its bad enough putting up with Jim's sulks everytime I mention that Sooty is not real! By the way I shall miss you at Whitby |
Subject: RE: BS: what would you stick your hand up From: Dave Bryant Date: 17 Aug 04 - 04:24 AM I'll miss you lot too, but both Linda and I are still in full time employment and although I get more holiday than she does, this is a busy time for me at the university what with the A-level results out on Thursday (we got them on Sunday). Linda also has a weeks holiday with her son, daughter, and grandchildren and won't be back from Spain until Sunday night. Still, I hope you all have a great time in "The Tap & Spile" - why not get a real sheep for Jim to put his hand up - there's plenty on the moors ! |
